By using the Ar-Ruqya Ash-Shariyah Forum, you are agreeing to comply with the following Rules:
Choosing a username:
- You will NOT take a username with anti-Islamic, racial or sexual connotations.
- You will NOT take a username promoting a religion other than Islam or promoting polytheism.
- You will NOT use the names of Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta'ala) as a username.
- You will NOT attempt to register multiple times with different usernames, only one account per user is permitted.
- You will NOT re-register on the forum once you have been banned, including using a name or email address not known to us.
Pictures, Videos & Avatars:
- You will NOT post or link to pictures that show indecency in dress or nakedness.
- You will NOT use pictures/symbols/slogans promoting a religion other than Islam or promoting polytheism.
- You will NOT post or link to pictures/videos of a sexual or pornographic nature.
- You will NOT post or link to pictures/videos/images that depict Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) or any of the other Prophets.
- You will NOT post anti-Islamic, racist or sexual symbols & slogans.
Posting:
- You will NOT post any unlawful, threatening, abusive, harmful or obscene material.
- You will NOT insult, degrade, mock or lie against Islam, Muslims, the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) and any other Prophets.
- You will NOT disrespect other users, Muslims and non-Muslims.
- You will NOT pretend to be/represent somebody else in the forum, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with another person or company.
- You will NOT disclose your personal details such as names, email addresses, phone numbers or home addresses on the main forum.
- You will NOT arrange personal meetings with other users on the main forum.
- You will NOT knowingly post false or defamatory comments about others.
- You will NOT invade the privacy or confidentiality of another user.
- You will NOT post racist or sexist comments against other users, or make racial taunts against other users.
- You will NOT use foul language, bad language or offensive language, including swear words (as well as those with abbreviations/asterisk) or language of an explicitly sexual or perverse nature.
- You will NOT post links to third party websites for advertisement purposes or otherwise, unless it is relevant to a particular discussion on the forum. Ar-Ruqya Ash-Shariyah Forum is not liable for the content of any such websites.
- You will NOT post in a language other than English, unless you are including references from the Qur'an etc.
- You will NOT meaningfully disrupt topics on the forum by posting irrelevant comments.
- You will NOT post material containing viruses, files or programs that are designed to interrupt or limit the functionality of any computer hardware or software.
- You will NOT spam on the forum. In other words, you will not post repetitive threads or comments.
Interaction with the Opposite Sex:
- Smiling or winking emoticons directed at the opposite gender are not allowed.
- LOLing at the opposite gender is not allowed
- Joking with the opposite gender is not allowed.
- Excessively praising the opposite gender is not allowed.
- Flattering the opposite gender is not allowed.
- Declaring your love (for the sake of Allah) to the opposite gender is not allowed.
- Friend requests should not be made to the opposite gender, this is considered free-mixing and will be moderated.
The moderators may innocently overlook some violations as they may fall into some themselves. We are not perfect, so please be patient with us and point out the oversight tactfully.
If you are in breach of any of the above rules, the Ar-Ruqya Ash-Shariyah Forum board moderator and/or administrator reserves the right to suspend or ban you from the forum, or edit/change/delete any material that does not comply with the above rules. Moderator and Administrator actions/decisions are final and must be respected and abided by until users are told otherwise by the Ar-Ruqya Ash-Shariyah team.
Please note: Ar-Ruqya Ash-Shariyah Forum board moderators and/or administrators have the right to ban or remove any member from the forum without warning and without explanation! Some reasons why this may occur include but are not limited to: perceiving a member to be non-Shariyah complaint, a member being argumentative, causing a scene, being disruptive, a member threatening other members or Moderators and Administrators.
If you are unhappy with the decision or comment made by the Administrator/Moderator, you may email us at admin@ruqyashariyah.org to discuss your concerns. You may NOT start discussions on the main forum board about decisions made against you or other users, nor can you discuss the matter via email or communicate to others whether members or non-members through other methods or modes of communication.
You must NOT insult or speak bad about Administrators or Moderators on the forum and must show them respect at the decisions they make.
We reserve the right to change these rules at any time without any notice to you.
